Application:

Begin by cleaning the leather with Auto Finesse Hide Leather Cleanser to remove any debris, and prepare the surface for conditioning. Before applying the Hide Leather Conditioner, give the bottle a good shake to integrate the ingredients. Apply sparingly to a Microfiber, or Foam Applicator Pad. Gently work the conditioner into the surface of the leather until full coverage has been attained. Allow to cure to a haze for several minutes, and buff off with a general purpose Microfiber Towel to reveal a natural satin-matte finish.

Auto Finesse Verso is our concentrated all purpose cleaner and degreaser that boast a wide range of cleaning abilities, both interior cleaning and external cleaning whilst offering great value for money. Interior cleaning: 10:1 Simply spray Verso onto a microfiber cloth and wipe the area clean. If more cleaning power is required introduce a soft detailing brush. Spray Verso onto the selected area and agitate with the soft brush. Once Verso is worked in, use a microfiber cloth to reveal a factory fresh look.

Fabric and carpet deep cleaning: 7:1 Spray Verso onto the carpets or fabric that require cleaning. Allow dwelling for Verso to penetrate the dirt before using a carpet brush or detailing brush to agitate the area. Once agitated wipe or vacuum the area clean.

Wheels, tires, and wheel arch cleaning: 5:1 Apply Verso to the wheel, tire and arch and allow dwelling. Then come back with a wheel brush to agitate any hard on grime, brake dust, or grease. Be sure to also agitate the Verso that was sprayed onto the tire and arch. This will ensure any old dressings are removed, ready for a fresh coat of Satin and Dressle. Once Verso is worked in, simply rinse clean and allow to dry, or use a microfiber cloth to dry the area.

Heavy degreasing: 1:1 for engine cleaning and doorjambs, spray Verso onto the dirty area. Next come back with the relevant brush to agitate the all-purpose cleaner. Then rinse the area with fresh water. However do not let Verso dry on warm engines or in direct sun light.

Verso also works well on external cleaning such as plastic trims, rubber seals and bumper parts. This will ensure that the trim is fully clean before a dressing such as Revive or Dressle is used. This will allow the dressing to bond to the selected trim or seal, intern offering better durability and protection.

Application:

Dressle is extremely versatile in its application, and all methods outlined below will result in the same finish, its just about choosing the right one for the part of the vehicle you are working on.

Engine bays: Clean and dry your engine bay first using something like our Verso multipurpose cleaner, then liberally spray Dressle on all of the engines plastic components, you can also coat the painted and metal parts too. Then leave to dry for 4-6 hours. Wipe up any excess after this curing time and that’s it! Your bay will be looking fresh, clean and protected. The same approach is to be taken for wheel wells also.

Interior plastic, vinyl and rubber: Apply 1-3 spritz of product to a Microfiber applicator and wipe on to the surface, door cards dash boards and other such flat surfaces can be coated easily this way, for trickier areas such and vents, gaps and other hard to reach parts, try spraying Dressle on to a detailing brush and applying.

Exterior trim: Apply 2-3 spritz of Dressle to a microfiber work towel, and work in to the surface, leave to cure, if patching occurs add a subsequent second coat

How to use Imperial

Wheel cleaning is generally one of the first jobs you tackle when detailing a car or bike, so start by taking some time and laying out the tools you will need. You will need two types of brushes; a dedicated wheel brush for the barrels of the wheels, and a smaller detailing brush for the faces and wheel nuts. You will also need a bucket clearly labeled, and dedicated for wheel cleaning to rinse out your brushes. Our Limited Edition Detailing Bucket is perfect for this, as it eliminates the possibility of accidentally washing your vehicle with brake dust contaminated water. Lastly, you will need a Microfiber Drying Towel to dry off the wheels, and one last thing you will need a bottle of Auto-Finesse Imperial

Begin by using a free-running hosepipe or pressure washer to remove any loose contamination, and spray Imperial directly onto the wheels and tyres, thoroughly saturating all exposed surfaces. Allow the product to dwell momentarily while it begins to soften the brake dust and road film. Start with the wheel brush, cleaning in-between the spokes, and reaching into the barrel of the wheel to break loose as much of the brake dust as possible. Finish by using the detail brush to clean the face and lips of the wheels, as well as around the wheel nuts. Also, take this opportunity to thoroughly scrub the tyres, removing the old dressing in preparation for a new coat. Afterwards you can rinse or pressure wash off the remaining brake dust and cleaner residue, revealing spotlessly clean wheels. During the wheel cleaning process, make sure to regularly rinse out your brushes in the bucket you assigned for wheel duty, as this will minimize the chance of scratching the wheels. Once you are finished cleaning the rest of the vehicle, you can thoroughly dry your wheels, preventing the chance of unsightly water spotting. Finish up with a coat of Auto-Finesse Satin tyre dressing to accentuate the wheels, and its showtime!

If iron or tar based fallout is still present after cleaning with Imperial, you follow up with Auto-Finesse Iron Out, and or Auto-Finesse ObliTARate. These, along with a detailing Clay Bar, will help you to get your wheels in brand new condition, and ready for a sealant of your choice. Auto-Finesse Imperial is available both in ready-to-use pre-diluted form, and as an economical concentrate for high-volume or professional detailers. The ready-to-use version is pre-diluted to 10:1, which is the ratio we recommend for normal wheel and tire cleaning duties. However, for heavier cleaning duties on badly neglected wheels, the concentrate can be mixed at a dilution ratio as strong as 2:1. It can also be mixed at up to a 20:1 dilution for light wheel cleaning on well-maintained vehicles, making it even more economical to use. A 1-liter bottle of concentrate can easily be used to make 10 or more liters of useable wheel cleaner!

Imperial is safe to use on all painted, clearcoated, and powder coated alloy wheel finishes. Chrome, bare polished aluminum, or anodized finishes should be treated with extreme caution. These types of wheel finishes are most common on aftermarket wheels, and should be cleaned with a mild exterior all-purpose-cleaner like Auto-Finesse Citrus Power. In more extreme cases of neglect, a reactive iron fallout remover like Auto-Finesse Iron Out can be used to help safely dissolve the brake dust.

Do not apply Auto-Finesse Imperial if the wheels are warm, in direct sunlight, or the ambient temperature is below 32-degrees Fahrenheit/0-degrees Celsius.

Whether your car or motorcycle has a modern clear coat, or a classic single-stage paint system, Auto-Finesse waxes will give it the protection it needs to survive the realities of everyday life. Directions:

Before waxing, make sure that the vehicle is clean, and cool to the touch. If bonded contamination is present, use a Clay Bar to prep the surface for best results. If the paintwork is lightly marred, or the vehicle has not been polished in the last 6-12 months, it is also advisable to use one of our signature Pre-Wax Cleansers in order to create the maximum shine. Place an Auto-Finesse Waxmate foam applicator inside the pot of wax, and rotate it half a turn to prime the pad with product. This is typically enough wax to protect a single moderately sized panel, though this may vary depending upon the condition of the paintwork. Apply the wax to the panel with small, overlapping circular strokes, light pressure, and in a consistent pattern to obtain full coverage of the paint. If the applicator feels like it is starting to run dry across the surface, or coverage becomes uneven, return the applicator to the container using another quarter-turn of the pad to re-prime the foam. The goal when waxing is to apply the product as thinly and evenly as possible, since a little bit goes a very long way to protecting and enhancing the shine of your vehicle.

Auto-Finesse Illusion is very forgiving of application style, and can be applied panel-by-panel, or to the entire vehicle at once without issue. Once applied, the residue can be removed immediately, or left to cure for up to one hour before being buffed off with a plush Microfiber Towel. If the wax has been allowed to dry, or secondary hazing of the wax occurs (A phenomenon which can sometimes happen in hot or humid climates, especially if the product was over-applied.), you can use a water-based QD like Auto-Finesse Finale to help ease removal of the residue. When applying multiple layers of wax for extra depth, wetness, and protection, make sure to wait at least 3-hours in between coats to allow the organic solvents to fully flash.

For best results, do not wax the vehicle if the ambient temperature is below 43-degreesFahrenheit (Approximately 6-degrees Celsius), or above 95-degrees Fahrenheit (35-Degrees Celsius). Waxing in direct sunlight, or conditions of high humidity can respectively lead to over, or under-curing of the product before removal.

Iron fallout (Also called Rail Dust, though most of it comes from vehicle brakes.) is a growing problem due to industry, mass transit, and increased traffic levels. These tiny pieces of ferrous shrapnel can embed themselves into practically any surface, and if left unchecked will begin to corrode. Auto-Finesse Iron Out targets and dissolves these particles before significant damage to your vehicle can occur.

Auto-Finesse Iron Out is an advanced, pH neutral, reactive gel formula that specifically targets only iron-based contamination. Unlike the harsh acids often used by body shops to remove embedded ferrous particles, the only thing that has to be afraid of Iron Out is iron! It is suitable to use on all exterior surfaces, including paintwork, aluminum, magnesium, stainless-steel, anodized finishes, chrome, glass, plastic, and even rubber. Iron Out also contains strong degreasing agents to help loosen road films, making it a powerful force in the decontamination process.

Directions:

First, start by giving the product a good shake to mix the ingredients. For best performance, the vehicle should be washed and dried before applying Iron Out. Spray a fine mist of product directly onto the surface to be treated, and wait for a reaction to take place. Allow Iron Out to dwell for 3-7 minutes depending upon the ambient temperature, before rinsing off the residue with a hosepipe or pressure washer. For cases of extreme fallout, additional applications may be required to fully remove the contamination before rinsing. Once the fallout has been removed, you can complete the decontamination phase by claying and drying the vehicle, creating a perfect surface for subsequent detailing steps.

Do not use Iron Out in direct sunlight, or in temperatures below 32-degrees Fahrenheit/0-degrees Celsius.

Do not allow the product to dry onto the surface, as staining may occur. Rinse off, or apply more product if necessary to maintain a wet film.

Application

For localized tar and adhesive removal, apply ObliTARate using a Q-Tip or Cotton Bud to prevent product wastage. For larger areas, transfer the necessary amount of ObliTARate to a solvent-resistant spray bottle, and apply a fine mist of product onto the surface (Make sure to rinse the spray bottle out with water immediately after use if you intend to re-use it.). Allow the product to dwell for a few seconds to take effect, and wipe away the contaminants using a short-pile Microfiber Towel. If necessary, repeat application until contamination no longer persists. Apply out of direct sunlight, and take care not to let the product dry or bake on to the surface.

Directions:

Application:

Hand Application –
We recommend using either a Microfiber, or Dual Foam applicator pad. Apply a small-coin sized drop of product to the applicator, and work into the paint with light pressure until the residue turns clear. Use small, overlapping circular or linear motions when applying the product. For best results, confine yourself to working a small area at a time (No larger than 18 by 18 square inches, or 45 by 45 square centimeters.). Once the product has been fully worked in, remove the residue immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum polishing performance, use a Microfiber Applicator, or the white side of the Dual Foam applicator pad. For maximum gloss, or when working on very soft paint types, we recommend to use the black side of the Dual Foam applicator pad for ultimate finishing potential.

Dual Action Polisher –
For application by Dual Action (DA) polisher, we recommend using a light foam finishing or polishing pad. For this, our Supreme Finishing Pad would be ideal. Prime the pad with 2 to 4 pea-sized drops of product, and spread onto a small area of the paint (No larger than 18 by 18 square inches, or 45 by 45 square centimeters.) using the lowest setting on the machine. Afterwards, work the product in using slow, even overlapping passes, light pressure, and a moderate-high speed setting (Circa 4000 to 5000 OPM’s.) until you see the residue starting to turn clear. At this stage back the speed down to its next lowest setting for another section pass, and once again to its lowest setting for the final finishing pass. Remove the residue immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum gloss and finishing potential, a foam finishing pad is ideal. For maximum polishing performance, or when working on harder paint types, we would recommend a slightly firmer foam polishing pad.

Rotary Polisher –
For application by Rotary Polisher, we recommend using a light foam finishing or polishing pad. For this, our Supreme Finishing Pad would be ideal. Prime the pad with 2 to 4 pea-sized drops of product, and spread onto a small area of the paint (No larger than 18 by 18 square inches, or 45 by 45 square centimeters.) using the lowest setting on the machine. Afterwards, increase the speed to a maximum of 1200 RPM until you see the residue starting to turn clear. At this stage back the speed down to its next lowest setting for another section pass, and once again to its lowest setting for the final finishing pass. Remove the residue immediately using a Microfiber Towel. For maximum gloss and finishing potential, a foam finishing pad is ideal. For maximum polishing performance, or when working on harder paint types, we would recommend a slightly firmer foam polishing pad.

Application:

Auto Finesse Power Seal needs to be applied to clean bare paint, whether it be freshly polished and cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), or prepared with Tough Prep. Power Seal can be applied by hand, dual action (DA), or rotary polisher, with instructions as follows:

Hand – Apply the product sparingly to the black side of a Dual-Foam Applicator Pad, and work it into a small, manageable section of the paintwork. Use small, overlapping, circular motions, and go over the area until the residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a Plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.

Dual Action Polisher – Apply 3-4 pea sized drops of product to a soft foam finishing pad (Our Supreme Foam Finishing pad is ideal for this.), and spread onto a manageable section of the paintwork using the lowest machine speed. We like to apply it to an entire small panel, or half of a larger panel at a time. Once the product has been spread, increase the speed to between 4000 and 5000 OPM’s, and work in slow overlapping passes until the product residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a Plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.

Rotary Polisher – Apply 3-4 pea sized drops of product to a soft foam finishing pad (Our Supreme Foam Finishing pad is ideal for this.), and spread onto a manageable section of the paintwork using the lowest machine speed. We like to apply it to an entire small panel, or half of a larger panel at a time. Continue to work in slow overlapping passes, at approximately 600-900 RPM, until the product residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.

Do not use Power Seal in direct sunlight, or in temperature below 32-degrees Fahrenheit / 0-degrees Celsius.

Application:

Vinyl, Plastic and Rubber: 
For light soiling, spray Total directly onto a general purpose Microfiber Towel, and wipe onto surface. Switch to a dry general purpose Microfiber Towel, and buff off any residues to reveal a perfectly clean finish. If heavier soiling is present, spray Total directly onto the surface to be cleaned, allow dwelling momentarily, and agitate with a soft, short-bristle brush. You can then use a general purpose Microfiber Towel to soak up the remaining product and grime. Regularly re-fold, and periodically change your microfiber towels during the interior cleaning process. This keeps the cleaning and absorption power of your towels at their maximum, and prevents the possibility of leaving behind dirt or product residues. Follow up with an interior protectant, like Auto Finesse Spritz to protect against fading, and restore that OEM look.

Spot Removal on Textiles: 
For quickly removing stains and spills on fabric and carpeted surfaces, spray Total directly onto the spot until saturated, and allow to dwell for 1-2 minutes. If necessary, work the product into surface with a soft, short-bristle brush to help break down the stain. Once lifted, you can blot the surface with a dry, general purpose Microfiber Towel to soak up the remaining product. If the stain remains, repeat the process. Wet the cleaned area with a water spritz, or damp towel to remove any product residues, and re-blot with a dry general purpose Microfiber Towel. Finally, leave material in a well-ventilated area to air-dry.

Textile Shampooing: 
To deep clean fabric and carpets, begin by dry vacuuming the material to remove any loose dirt. Liberally spray Total directly onto the area to be cleaned until the surfaces is damp with product. Allow the product to dwell for 1-2 minutes. Wet a soft, short-bristle brush in a bucket of water, and agitate the area to help loosen any in-ground grime. You can then rinse the material with clear water, and use a wet/dry vacuum, or carpet extractor to remove the excess product. Repeat the process until the extracted rinse water stays clear. At this stage, you will know that all dirt and product residues have been removed. You can now leave the material to air-dry in a well-ventilated area.
