Unlike most sealants, little curing time is necessary before Tough Coat can be safely layered or topped. Application:
Originally Tough Coat was designed for vehicle paintwork, both single stage and more modern two stage clear coats. However Tough Coat can also be applied to wheels. Whether they are powder coated, painted or polished, Tough Coat will bond to the surface and protect your wheels.
Prior to application we recommend the surface is treated to Tough Prep to insure the surface is full clean. Tough Coat should be applied in the same manor as on paintwork ensuring an even coverage. In the long term Tough Coat will help your wheels stay cleaner for longer. Also it will cut the need for a heavy hitting wheel cleaner and the rim will come back to life with just a pH neutral shampoo wash.
