Auto-Finesse Power Seal represents the future of paint sealants, a turning point when polymer technology takes a massive step forward. Traditional sealants can sometimes last up to six months, but Power Seals advanced cross-linking polymers can last for up to a year on a daily driver! Its slick, glass-like finish helps to release contamination, which makes it perfect for vehicles in harsh climates. Tough molecular bonds allow it to shrug off weathering and fallout with ease. Today’s vehicles are exposed to increasingly hazardous fallout, but with Power Seal, you can now protect against it.
Like all Auto-Finesse car care products, Power Seal is formulated to suit the needs of professional detailers, but can be used with great success by detailing enthusiasts and first time detailers as well. Power Seals high-solids formula is based on cross-linking, friction-bonded polymers, with built-in UV absorbers to protect against fading. It will also help to prevent damage from acid rain etching, road salt, bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, and industrial pollution. Even strong wash products will not remove Power Seal immediately, and 6-12 months of durability is easily seen.
We originally created Power Seal for customers requesting long maintenance intervals, or who drove their vehicle under very harsh conditions. Despite its utilitarian origins, Power Seal managed to surprise us all with a stunningly glossy, glass-like finish. After an application of Power Seal, cars, motorcycles, and 4X4s look like they have had another layer of clearcoat applied, even if they didn’t have one to start with! Power Seal is the perfect choice for brutal northern winters, or long motoring trips abroad, and will impress sealant lovers with the ultimate in low-maintenance protection.
Lets face it, were all searching for the best way to protect our pride and joy. Conventional waxes and sealants are great options, but can require frequent maintenance to keep them at their best. Sometimes you just don’t have that much time to spend maintaining your car. Nanotechnology coatings are one option, but they can be expensive, and very demanding to apply. Auto-Finesse Power Seal is a simpler, easier option to these exotic coatings, and still offers truly substantial protection. Power Seal really is the future of polymer sealant technology.
Application:
Auto Finesse Power Seal needs to be applied to clean bare paint, whether it be freshly polished and cleaned with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), or prepared with Tough Prep. Power Seal can easily be topped with Tough Coat, or any of our Carnauba Waxes to provide additional protection, and shine. Before use, give the product a good shake to integrate the ingredients. Power Seal can be applied by hand, dual action (DA), or rotary polisher, with instructions as follows:
Hand – Apply the product sparingly to the black side of a Dual-Foam Applicator Pad, and work it into a small, manageable section of the paintwork. Use small, overlapping, circular motions, and go over the area until the residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a Plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.
Dual Action Polisher – Apply 3-4 pea sized drops of product to a soft foam finishing pad (Our Supreme Foam Finishing pad is ideal for this.), and spread onto a manageable section of the paintwork using the lowest machine speed. We like to apply it to an entire small panel, or half of a larger panel at a time. Once the product has been spread, increase the speed to between 4000 and 5000 OPM’s, and work in slow overlapping passes until the product residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a Plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.
Rotary Polisher – Apply 3-4 pea sized drops of product to a soft foam finishing pad (Our Supreme Foam Finishing pad is ideal for this.), and spread onto a manageable section of the paintwork using the lowest machine speed. We like to apply it to an entire small panel, or half of a larger panel at a time. Continue to work in slow overlapping passes, at approximately 600-900 RPM, until the product residue just starts to disappear. A very light haze of product should still remain. Once an entire panel has been completely sealed, you can immediately buff off the residue using a plush Microfiber Towel. Working panel-by-panel, go around the vehicle until it has been completely sealed.
Do not use Power Seal in direct sunlight, or in temperature below 32-degrees Fahrenheit / 0-degrees Celsius.
